Melbourne Trip - Day Six

  • May. 27th, 2008 at 10:07 AM
Dear and myself were at home for the whole day. He woke up feeling cold after shower and before he went for work, he felt uncomfortable and had diarrhea. It must be the wind/gas in his stomach which was causing him all the pain. He was weak and tired. He went back to bed again after breakfast. And he slept and slept. Yuan and William had gone out for work so I tried making a cake to occupy my time. I did not have a weighing scale to measure the ingredients so I just agak-agak. I made Nutella Yogurt cake. Surprisingly, it turned out good! :D

After baking, I cooked dinner. Basically, I was in the kitchen for the entire day. It was my first time cooking on my own so it took me so long... haha!

Melbourne Trip - Day Five

  • May. 27th, 2008 at 9:41 AM
It was Tuesday. Dear went back for work after 4 days of break. I went out to the city to get a prepaid SIM card for my phone. My first time traveling alone. Good experience though. Then dear came to meet me after work at Coles and we bought some Tim Tam and microwave popcorn. Later on we met up with Jenny for dinner at Mekong Vietnamese Restaurant.

After dinner, dear has a meeting to attend at Melbourne High School so I went to Jenny's place. We had a great chat till we forgot to take pictures and we ended up taking pictures in front of a laundry shop, just next to her apartment. Haha!

After the river cruise, we went to Chadstone for shopping. Mainly window shopping because most of the things are branded.
We stopped by at one of the food court and dear recommended crispy taco for our tea break.

Then we went home. He said he wanted to cook dinner so I waited for him. Haha.

After visiting Mount Dandenong, I followed dear to his church, Planetshakers, for afternoon service. It is a big church. I met with some of his friends. And after church service, we went for dinner at a Korean restaurant in the city to celebrate Daniel's Birthday.

My First Digital Camera

  • May. 9th, 2008 at 3:29 PM

Weee! I've bought a digital camera. It's Fuji F40fd with 8.3 megapixel which cost RM599. Worth it! :D It has been a week I survived without a camera. My old one (Olympus) suddenly broke down last week when I was trying to capture some photos from my family photo album. The lens went in and out and it couldn't focus properly. The camera just went crazy and I was pretty sad at that moment. I borrowed Xian's Nikon during the weekend coz I have to complete a video for mother's day. I was already half way there and out of the blue, my camera did not function. The following day, I went searching and surveying for cameras at Queensbay Mall and Gurney Plaza. After all the research, I narrowed down my option to Fuji F40fd. The original price was RM899 and because it was under promotion, I managed to get it for RM599 with 2gb memory card and a mini tripod for free! :D I can't wait to take pictures again :D

Blessed Birthday Papa

First of all,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA!

Today is Papa's birthday and also the day where he is going to Bermuda to meet Baby Avery. He is so excited! Xian and myself treated Papa  at Tao restaurant (Auto City) last night to celebrate his birthday. We had lots of Japanese food and the best part was Papa got a surprise when Xian came out with a birthday cake from the kitchen with a bunch of her ex-colleagues behind her, singing him a birthday song. Awww... sweet! :D
